It took seven people, ten hours, and three orders of naan, but I finally feel at home in my apartment. My stuff arrived by U-Haul early Sunday morning, was carted in by the movers I hired (it took less than half an hour to get everything inside, even though I had to pay them for 2 hours minimum, per company policy, whatever). And don't even get me started on the amount of trash and recycling we piled up on the curb. The garbage collector will love me after this. But I have my sofa, my TV, my bed, my clothes, and my books here with me in New York. A huge huge thanks to Mom, Dad, and Macie for their complaint-less work ethic all weekend. Special thank you to Adam for driving up with my Dad (again) and helping transfer my stuff (again). Now all I need is Rory, and I will be able to call this place home sweet home.
